The Story & Purpose of Zero Give Up

Zero Give Up did not begin with a business plan.

It began with a realization.

I was slowly disappearing from my own life.

Like many people, I was carrying responsibilities, stress, expectations, and habits that pulled me further away from the person I wanted to be. Recovery became an opportunity to rebuild my relationship with myself and start showing up differently.

As I rebuilt trust in myself, a question kept returning:

How do people start showing up for themselves again?

That question became the foundation of the 21-Day Reset.

The goal was never perfection.

It was helping people keep small promises, create momentum, and begin building a stronger relationship with themselves one day at a time.

As that work evolved, another question emerged:

What helps people create lasting change?

Starting is important, but lasting growth requires more than habits alone. It requires purpose, values, self-awareness, healthy relationships, and a clear understanding of who we are becoming.

That question became Evolve 90.

Evolve 90 was created as a deeper journey for people who wanted to continue growing beyond the first steps and intentionally build the life they wanted to live.

As I became more involved in community work, organizations, recovery circles, leadership roles, and volunteer service, I began noticing something else.

The challenge was rarely a lack of knowledge.

People often knew what they wanted to do.

They knew their values.

They knew the right path.

Yet in moments of stress, conflict, fear, frustration, politics, assumptions, and old wounds, they still reacted in ways they later regretted.

Relationships suffered.

Conversations broke down.

Communities became divided.

The problem was often not bad intentions.

The problem was automatic reaction.

That observation led to another question:

What happens in the few seconds before we react?

Because those few seconds can change everything.

A relationship.

A conversation.

A decision.

A conflict.

A choice.

From that question, STAND in a Good Way was born.

STAND helps create space between what happens and what we choose to do next.

Guided by the Seven Grandfather Teachings, it provides a practical framework for moving from automatic reaction to intentional response.

Today, Zero Give Up brings these pieces together.

STAND helps us navigate difficult moments.

The 21-Day Reset helps us begin showing up for ourselves.

Evolve 90 helps us continue growing with purpose and intention.

The community provides a place to learn, practice, support others, and continue the journey.

Our purpose is simple:

To help people strengthen the relationship they have with themselves and others by learning to live in a good way.

We do not believe people need to be fixed.

We believe they need support while they remember who they are.

That is the journey we are on.

And everyone is welcome.

Recovery became an opportunity to rebuild my relationship with myself and begin showing up differently.

As I rebuilt trust in myself, I began asking questions.

How do people start showing up for themselves again?

How do they create lasting change?

How do they stay true to their values when life becomes difficult?

Each question led to something new.

The first became the 21-Day Reset—a simple way to help people rebuild trust in themselves through small daily actions.

The second became Evolve 90—a deeper journey focused on purpose, values, relationships, identity, and intentional growth.

The third emerged through community work, recovery circles, leadership roles, organizations, and volunteer service.

I noticed that most people already knew what mattered to them.

They knew their values.

They knew the right thing to do.

Yet in moments of stress, conflict, fear, assumptions, frustration, politics, or old wounds, they often reacted in ways they later regretted.

Relationships suffered.

Conversations broke down.

Communities became divided.

The issue was rarely a lack of knowledge.

It was the space between what happened and how people responded.

That question led to the creation of STAND in a Good Way.

A practical framework for navigating the few seconds before we react.

Today, these pieces form the foundation of Zero Give Up.
